First Batch of CORAF Mentees Get Tickets to the ICT4Ag Pre-Forum

120 young men and women, who met the eligibility criteria have been randomly chosen. They will be empowered with technologies from the National Centres of Specialization (NCoS), supported by West Africa Agricultural Productivity Program (WAAPP) have been notified.

To kickstart the process, this first batch of CORAF mentees have obtained tickets to the ICT4Ag pre-forum.

To ensure the gender policy of CORAF/WECARD, 60 men and 60 women were chosen. They hail from the following countries:

Nigeria (35); Benin (30); Cameroon (14); Burkina Faso (2); Niger (2); Ghana (11); Mali (5); Togo (5); Cote d’Ivoire (2); Gabon (2); DRC (2); Senegal (8); and Liberia (2).

These mentees have been notified and are now choosing the agricultural branch they would like to be mentored on.

They will equally be invited (fully funded) to the regional meeting.
